Scalix is a measurement, level, and unit/currency converter app for Android. This policy explains what data Scalix accesses and, just as importantly, what it does not do with it.
The only network requests Scalix makes on its own behalf are to Frankfurter (a free, open exchange-rate API) to fetch current currency conversion rates when you use the Currency tab. This request contains no personal information — it is a simple public rate lookup. Fetched rates are cached on your device so the converter keeps working offline; the cache contains only exchange rate numbers, nothing about you.
Scalix shows a small banner ad, served by Google AdMob, to support free development. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID and other device/app information to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Partner Sites policy. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by Scalix directly. You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising in your device's Google Settings.
Scalix stores your ruler calibration setting and cached currency rates locally on your device using Android's standard app storage. This data is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
Scalix does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
